Minister of Tourism Prasanna Ranatunga said, the Government will reopen International Airports for tourists from late this month.

He said due to the impact of COVID-19, the Government had been forced to temporarily halt all avenues of foreign exchange gained through tourism. He mentioned that due to this reason, some 3 million people dependant on the tourism sector had been badly affected.
